Destination (Poem)

The car goes honk honk,

The car behind is saying hurry,

The car behind keeps getting closer and going honk honk,

I wonder why they’re in a hurry?

I wish they wouldn’t honk.

At times they curse,

All because the driver is in a hurry,

At times they give angry looks with the curse,

Death is near when a person is in a hurry,

Yet they don’t seem to care as they curse.

They should slow down and value life more instead of the destination,

Perhaps the destination is important,

Yet if they die or if they kill someone they’ll never get to that destination,

Life should be more important,

Unless death is their destination.
