Rules (Poem)

In public there’s less touching,

We don’t need to show the world we’re in love,

We’ll be okay without public touching,

We don’t doubt our love,

Yes, we love each other’s touching.

Be careful of children’s eyes,

The children shouldn’t see certain adult touches,

Adults should be role models in children’s eyes,

They’ll eventually learn about adult touches,

For now we should protect their eyes.

However, in private there are different rules,

He better touch me,

He better not follow the public rules,

Or my love won’t see a happy me,

Yes, it’s always good to follow the rules.
