Grandma (Poem)

Grandma I remember your fear,

I too fear death,

Perhaps it’s goodbye living world is what I fear,

Perhaps it’s the unknown connected to death,

Still I feel you’ll be at the heavens gate calming my fear.

Grandma are you okay up there?

Grandma a lot of your relatives aren’t okay down here,

Some are almost going up there,

Even though it hurts us to leave everyone here,

I guess we’ll all eventually meet up there.

Grandma would we have the conversation that we never had?

Are you also with great grandma?

You two are the best grandma’s I ever had,

I miss you grandma,

Many of us will forever feel that you’re the best grandma we ever had.
